Terms & Conditions

By downloading, installing or using the Race Alpine application ("App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Race Alpine ("we", "us", or "our").

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Race Alpine. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent. By using the App you represent that you meet these requirements.

To use Race Alpine you must create an account. You may register using:

• Apple ID (Sign in with Apple)
• Google account (Sign in with Google)
• Email address and password

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at support@racealpine.app if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.

4.1 Permitted Use

Race Alpine is intended for personal, non-commercial use by alpine ski athletes and coaches to record and review training sessions and race performance data.

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use the App for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or infrastructure
• Transmit any harmful, offensive or disruptive content
• Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the App or its data
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the App or its API

You retain ownership of the training data you enter into Race Alpine (sessions, runs, times, gates, notes). By submitting data, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process that data solely to provide the App's functionality.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any data you enter. We do not verify or validate training performance data.

Race Alpine uses your device's GPS to detect nearby ski pistes and display your location on the in-app map. Location access is optional — you may manually select a piste without enabling location services. Location data is used exclusively within the App and is not sold to third parties.

All content in the App — including the Race Alpine name, logo, interface design, graphics, software code, and all related intellectual property — is owned by Race Alpine and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Race Alpine integrates with the following third-party services:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication and data storage
• Google Sign-In — social login
• Sign in with Apple — social login
• OpenStreetMap — map tiles for piste selection
• Sentry — crash reporting and error monitoring
• Google Mobile Ads — advertising

Use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party services.

Race Alpine is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses.

Ski safety disclaimer: Race Alpine is a data tracking tool only. It does not provide safety guidance, coaching advice, or real-time hazard warnings. Always follow the safety rules of your ski resort and ensure you are adequately trained before racing.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Race Alpine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

Race Alpine currently offers a free tier. A Pro subscription may be introduced in the future with additional features such as advanced analytics, weather forecasting and wax recommendations. Any paid features will be clearly marked, and billing terms will be provided at the point of purchase. All payments are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective refund policies.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@racealpine.app. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the applicable territory.
